Director of Sales - Metals OEM Tier 1

2 Positions – Toronto, Atlanta

Our client is a well established privately held aluminum metals processor with over 50 years in the industry. They are suppliers of aluminum products to the automotive OEM and Tier 1 industries. With an established patent on an aluminum process, they are poised for growth with 2 plants in operations and others in the plans to build. They are seeking to bring on board a Regional Director of Sales in Atlanta, and a Corporate Director of Sales in Toronto.

This entrepreneurial opportunity will challenge the Director of Sales to build a sales team across North America and develop a sales structure and organization to fully realize the potential of this business opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Candidates must have a proven track in sales to Automotive OEM or Tier 1 in Canada and U.S.
• Create a branding with a relatively new aluminum product in the Automotive OEM and Tier 1 industries
• Develop a renewed sales and marketing strategies into the automotive aluminum industries
• Build a network of Sales Representatives to service Automotive OEM and Tier 1 market in Canada and U.S.
• Develop internal sales processes and organizational structures for this expanded growth
• Build trusted relationships with new and existing customers through your knowledge of the automotive industry establishing trust in this relatively new aluminum product
• Work with internal management teams in implementing new sales systems and processes incorporating them into current processes
• Create sales and marketing materials and presentations
• Network with the aluminum industry through industry events and trade shows


Qualifications:

• 10+ years in Sales to the Automotive OEM and / or Tier 1 industries in metals components
• 5+ years experiences in management of a sales teams
• Experiences in sales in the Automotive Aluminum industries an asset
• Technical diploma or degree in engineering would be an asset
• Track record of successfully building sales in under marketed or new market sectors
• Savvy in producing sales and marketing materials and presentations
• Experienced in representing the company with clients, at trade shows, conferences, and demonstrations
• Effective negotiator and communicator with clients and internal teams alike
• Ability to build mortal and effective sales teams
• Knowledgeable in best practices and policies in managing an effective sales team
• Ability to travel extensive and with ease throughout North America
